Apple of my eye

J started playgroup last Monday. I made it as low-key as possible so as not to cause any stress or anxiety unto him. I was prepared for the crying as I know over time, he will get used to it. The crying lasted for abt 3 days and by the 4th day, he has gotten quite used to his new environment and was more co-operative in getting up and going to the playgroup.

This week was a good week. He only cried on Monday as he was tired and reluctant to get out of bed. Feedback from the teachers has been positive so far and he is making new friends and quite chatty in class.

When I picked him up from playgroup this afternoon, he showed me a piece of artwork he has done. It was a piece of an apple drawing which he colored. I know he must have received a lot of help from the teacher but still very proud that the apple of my eye is growing up and is starting to learn new things in a formal way and environment.
