Sonshine: Mummy, mummy, ghosts and dinosaurs are the same, right?
Mum: Mmmm, how are they the same, M?
Sonshine: They are both dead.

Definition of Brotherhood
Overheard Sonshine mumbling "Kor kor and I fight, then we love each other. Then we fight again then we love each other again.

Experts
This conversation started out with me asking M to throw some stuff into the waste paper basket for me. While carrying out the task, he grumbled "why am I the expert in throwing things?".
Then J said that he is the expert in Lego Hero Factory. M said he is the expert in plaster (coz all ailments can be solved with a plaster and he can paste it on himself).
Then I asked what expert am I then?
According to M, I am the expert in loving.

My son wants to be an artist
And that is what I've been hearing consistently for the past year. J wants to be a visual artist (not the Korean drama heart-throb kind of artist) when he grows up.
A typical Chinese mother's thought would be: would he earn enough to provide for himself? I am that typical Chinese mum everytime J tells me that.
Of course I kept the thought to myself.
Instead I became the biggest fan of his every art creations. And for his next reward, it would be to visit an art gallery so that he can gain greater exposure to other artist's work.
You don't have to second guess who will make a beeline to his first art exhibition. And I hope his creation sells for $10k and above and he better sell at least one every month. Hey, I did admit that I am the typical Chinese mum right?

Setting the bed for Daddy
When I walked into the bedroom, I saw J setting up the mattress for K. He dragged the mattress to the floor and placed the blanket, pillow and bolster into position. What a sweet gesture.
